Great Plains Food Bank’s Harvesting Hope Campaign

Great Plains Food Bank is working to end hunger across North Dakota and Clay County, Minnesota.

Its Harvesting Hope capital campaign is helping build the capacity needed to serve even more people through a new statewide distribution center and expanded hunger relief resources.

The $30.5 million campaign will support a larger distribution center, expanded transportation and programming resources, and the long-term sustainability of Great Plains Food Bank.

The new facility will help the organization receive, store and distribute more food while continuing to grow its network of volunteers and community partners.

This Great Plains Food Bank video feature combines interviews with Great Plains Food Bank leadership and campaign supporters with footage of warehouse operations, volunteers, food distribution and renderings of the future facility. Together, these elements connect the capital campaign to the people and communities it will ultimately serve.

For Great Plains Food Bank, Harvesting Hope is about much more than constructing a new building. It is about expanding the organization’s ability to fight hunger and creating the infrastructure needed to serve communities across North Dakota and western Minnesota for years to come.
